My eta disappeared today as well. Truck was supposed to arrive at dealership today, and then my salesguy says it's delayed. Still no eta for me....

Well my eta starts tomorrow and goes through the weekend, I really hope there are no delays. I'm already am at the point of a Vspec Junky that I refresh the page 100 times a day. I don't think my heart could handle a delay right now. I imagine tomorrow will be a refresh every 30 seconds until I can get my fix....

A 5 month waiting period from ordering until delivery.
The company I work for placed the purchase order for a Tacoma DCSB 4x4 Sport with Premium package (leather, moonroof, bedcover, sidesteps, etc..) auto tranny, Lunar Rock in October 2021 and delivery is scheduled for April29. (Truck arrived this week and currently being prepared by the dealer for delivery)
I'm talking about the Toyota dealer located in Juarez, Mexico.

I see a lot of people seem to choose the TRD sport over the OR and I was just curious about what benefits the sport might have to make up for the lack of off road goodies that the Offroad has. It looks like they are about the same price. FYI this is not meant to be a smart ass question and I know I could find out if I spent several hours looking it up but the bullet points from here will be much easier I'm thinking.

I wanted an DCLB OR in Canada but they don't make them for our market. Only the TRD Sport DCLB. Like the looks of the OR better and the available rear locker. However, still happy with my sport and the city/highway geared suspension so far.

The wait is over! Feels surreal that I actually have it now. Deposit placed August 2021, took delivery today. Was a long wait but this thread has been a lifesaver to allow me to keep track of my truck along its journey. I have to say the ELM is even more impressive in person than I thought it would be. I learned a lot from this thread and look forward to you all getting your desired rides sooner than later. Now.....on to the mods!

I don't know why... the off road offers more features. Better tires and a rear locking differential

I figured since it was roughly the same base price, maybe there were other things to even the score. My first Tacoma was an OR and it was amazing so I never really looked at what the sports even had to offer.

Was about 4 days past the ETA. The last few days seemed the longest....but well worth it in the end. Also kudos to Greentree Toyota in CT. Paid msrp and no crazy add-ons were forced upon me during the purchase.

Yeah, Its getting really hard. Honestly, I'm glad I found this group because there was a ton of useful information but I wish I never found out about the Vspec page, Pure torture....

Hey Rod. Could you help me track this VIN. 3TMCZ5AN7NM16A640 I was told by dealer it has build date 5-20 and deliver date 6-20. Just wondering if that sounds about right? My pre-approved loan check expires July 22. Not sure if I should reapply my loan??

Congrats! I placed a deposit on an ELM Pro Manual back in early Dec 2021 at 2 dealerships. Haven't heard anything. According to them, no one around 'these here parts' have gotten a TRD Pro at all, let alone that fantastic color.

Not sure, but it seems there are more appearance features in the Sport that might appeal more to others like the hood and mono color bits. Does enter you into the manual transmission realm too.

Personally I wanted more of the offroad hardware, so my flexibility choices were Trail Edition (only comes in auto but has lift & lockers), Offroad, and PRO models. Leaned towards Offroad more for reason of aftermarket mod potential.

Assuming no delays most guys seem to get theirs about a month after build.
