Where did you find their hidden winch mount? I have their push bar which is suppose to integrate with that. I was told they don't make that hidden mount anymore.

The trick to getting one of the blanks out without removing the entire dash is to use a pry tool on a switch next to the blank spot you want to fill. The switch will come out easier from the front, then you can reach in with your finger and pop out the blank from the back. One note here is the switch you pop out may or may not have a ton of movement due to the wire connection so you may have to disconnect the switch for added room. Once the blank is off just use whatever you can to run the wiring. Also be sure to connect your wiring to your new switch before you plug it in, do not test fit without the wiring connected.

Awesome Looking Truck, great pictures too. What brand of front bug guard is that I like it better than my Weathertech.

I do NOT miss snow like that back in NY. I lived in Chenango County as a kid and the only snow storm I enjoyed was the '93 blizzard that shut things down for a while.

Same thing happened to mine it was covered by my warranty thankfully because they wanted a pretty penny. I decided to hold off because I’m getting a new rear bumper anyway. They said one of the sensors had went out.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Today, I finally took mine in for the frame inspection. "We need to keep it overnight. We'll call you if we find any holes."

In the 10 minutes it took me to get from the dealership to work:

    upload_2022-4-28_9-11-5.jpg

    $300 and 41 cents.

edit> A follow-up: Dealership called. Said it had already been sprayed at the port and all they did was put plugs in the holes. I'm wondering if they interpreted my FFing to be oem. [shrug]

Asian fire truck. It's cute, but it's right-hand drive. It can be yours for 24K.

Manual trans, too. I can't even imagine trying to shift with my left hand.

What is this about a "frame inspection". Is there a TSB for it?

    re: fuel system service.
I use a can of Seafoam 1x per year. Cost: $15

Shifting left handed isn't that awkward, I had a Suzuki mini truck that was right hand steer and left hand shift.

I got a notice from Toyota last summer to bring it in for inspection. Frame rot was a real problem with Gen2s. I started a thread here somewhere asking what people's experience has been with Gen3s, which went pretty much nowhere. The window of opportunity lapsed. Got another notice a month or so ago. Figured I better do it just in case. Not too worried about it. I've been FluidFilming the underside every Fall since I've owned it.

The dealership has one guy that does nothing but replace frames. Apparently, even with all the labor involved, they can still turn a profit on a used Gen2.

I needed to get to work, so I didn't browse much while I was there. One observation... A lot of empty acreage still.

I cant seem to find the link but I recently had the 3rd light fix done on my truck and they recommended the fuel system flush. The entire kit they used could be bought online for about $30.00

Admittedly this wasn't today... but I finally got my iconic "I climbed Bald Mountain" shot. It's a beautiful trail & was a ton of fun to navigate (especially with all the snow melt!). My kiddos loved the swing on the fire tower.
