I just got allocated a TRD OR MT, but no tech or premium package.

I don't want to take my chances of waiting for the next allocation. There are too many variables like color and possibly waiting even longer. I have 6 deposits from So Cal to Albuquerque and managing communication takes some effort..

Does anyone know if these options can be added later?
like the dual climate, can I buy the parts and the wiring is existing? Same with the mirrors and bumper hopefully.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

But adding those items will never be worth the trouble and potential headaches. Do yourself a favor and hold out for the truck you really want.

I feel the same way when I modify my truck. Looking back now, sometimes stock is good for simplicity and peace of mind.

BCM and Rear Cross Traffic can physically be added with adding parts, adding wiring and the switch, but getting the modules programmed would be the real trouble. Then there is the alignment/calibration of the BCM modules. My guess is you would be into it $2,500+ for what I believe is a $700 option. WAIT for the truck you want.

Dual climate is useless. The cabin is so small I never have truly needed to use it, and my SO is picky about temperature.

BSM and RCTA are definitely nice features to have but not really worth the effort or $$$ to install imo.

With BSM you still find yourself checking your BS with your eyes anyway before changing lanes, its just a nice bonus to know ahead of time that a car is there but not necessary. Same with RCTA, yes it beeps at your if a car is coming while backing up (before it comes into view) but honestly you are probably going to see that car eventually due to the fisheye backup camera.

Don't sweat not having these features.

    Oh look, another mod....

This. I have tested the dual climate in my truck and he's right. If I set the drivers side to 66 degrees and the passengers side to 74 degrees, guess what temp the truck will be? 66 degrees. It's a very small cabin, so the dual zone feature is worthless.

I think dual zone is standard, and for all those who think it's useless? They are using it wrong. It acts as an excellent placebo for my wife to fiddle and make herself comfortable.
