While I did post this in the "what have you done..." thread, gotta support the color-themed thread too (as I do love looking through this thread with some frequency).
From shiny black to matte black...

Owned for a year now. 2019 TRD Sport Double Cab. Blacked out badges, upgraded TRD grill with raptor lights, new tires up to 265/70/17(was on the fence about rims - thought about RockTrix - but the current ones grew on me for the time being). Dirty in the new tire picture because I just moved, she's clean now.

Also a fun "Old Toyota vs New Toyota" in the last picture ;)

Here's my truck. Looks pretty plain right now but I'm planning to add some vynl in vintage TRD colors. Not too much, more of a subtle nod to the heritage.

Just picked up a MBM Pro with a manual Transmission. It definitely wasn’t my first choice of color as I already have a black 4Runner but it’s definitely growing on me. I’ve always thought the black pros look the most menacing.

Has anybody measured the paint thickness on their trucks? I’m coming from a Lunar Rock Sport and the paint was extremely thin…like 72microns….barely enough for a light polish. I’m hoping that metallics are laid on a bit thicker since my old MGM had fantastic paint. I’d like to do a light polish to take care of some of the swirls from the factory but if the paint is super thin I’ll probably just hold off and save as much clear as possible.

Plasti dipped rims and grill Added a few decals + debadge Cali-raised light bar in lower grill and hood lights Factory roof rack
I actually just sold my truck and that was one of the things the dealer did and i found out my truck was repainted all down the passenger side when it was still new. On the paint thickness tester it came up as 3-6 on the driver side and showed 11-13 on the passenger. I don’t know what it was measuring in though
