That's my thoughts too. The money sounds nice, but being away from my wife definitely does not.

 

If I was single, I'd do it. Being married, having someone at home waiting for you to return for however long you're stuck out there, I can't see myself doing it.

Wife's not doing well. I finally got her to answer the phone and she sounds like she wants to die. Extreme pain, and they tried all the heavy hitter meds and its still unbearable. Fucking physicians won't do an xray/ultrasound and JUST TAKE A FREAKING LOOK to make sure everythings okay in there.

she doesn't want me to leave work because she doesn't want me to see her like that. idk what to do...

 

Man, that's horrible...I'd probably go up there anyhow, but obviously it's not my call. Best to both of you, I hope they can get her straightened out.

I’d go, family before work. My wife had a blood clot in her brain, I left work multiple times because she would call and say she felt something wasn’t right.

I would probably go anyway, try to get some better information.

Something I have learned over the last few years is that patients get better care when they have an advocate working for them, always be polite and respectful -- but also be persistent.

 

Work will be there tomorrow, go be with that wife brother.

 

Im here. Been here for little over two hours now. She just finally was able to fall asleep after some more meds and a hefty dose of melatonin.

 

She woke up again and pain is starting to creep up again. Doc gave okay for the strongest stuff. Waiting on nurse to administer.

 

That stinks my friend, I know you feel bad cause you can’t do anything. Prayers for her and you, hopefully they’ll do some test and figure out what is causing the pain instead of trying to mask it. Hang in there
