Lol I live under a rock as far as automotive stuff goes.

John Watson (the guy behind https://theradavist.com) put one in his 70 series Troopy camper after the Toyota engine failed from watery fuel.

Must be nice to be able to write a build like that off as a business expense...

Watson did say he's getting a consistent 30mpg in that 70 series brick, though. That's the most appealing part to me.

Ignoring that the higher price of diesel would make it a wash over the 20-24mpg I manage now.

Thinking of going with this and a Diablo carbide bladeScreenshot_20220427-211519_Chrome.jpg

Watching blade reviews the Diablo and Makita blade cut so clean almost no demurred was necessary but the makita was way more money. This is what I use currently in comparison and its awesome but not really necessary lolScreenshot_20220428-211404_Chrome.jpg

I'll still have to get a double bench grinder cause I also use a green wheel and a white wheel fairly regularly

I've never seen it in a boat application but I don't see why it couldn't work. I'm familiar with it cause Bobcat used it in their skid steer line and we used it at work to power our concrete loop saw. Regretfully this version isn't made new anymore because it doesn't pass tier 4 emissions
