I have that saw. I love it.
The two complaints I've seen that are somewhat legit: noisy; throws metal chips.
Noisy: I always wear hearing protection, so not an issue for me. I've had wood planers that were significantly louder.
Chips: Yes. I ended up removing the small catch fence it comes with and I just set the saw pointing out the door. The catch fence just ricochets them all over the place. I either sweep them up later, or blow them into the gravel with leaf blower. Wouldn't be too difficult to make a catch container.

SO far I have only used the Evo blades (x2), but not a big fan. Going to try Diablo next. Chip production may be at least partially blade related.

That is fantastic insight, thank you for your first hand experience! Are their provisions to install a vac system to it? Not that I'm sure how useful that would be, my shop has a vac port on our belt/disk sander and it's fairly worthless lol

No on the adapter. This is a pic form my very first cut. See the triangle shaped crumb catcher on the right. That's what I removed. It just dispersed the flakes, didn't trap them.

I will say probably 60-70% go down through the opening and under the table, so it's not terrible, just something to be aware of when thiinking about buying.

i just got the cheaper $299 evolution. It’s really nice. Haven’t tried the Diablo blade but the one it comes with is doing great so far!

Last tank on the 95 was 22 mpg. If I drive easy the 3.4 can muster decent MPGS.

    I won’t pay over 10. Lol. If I’m going expensive I’ll still take a 79 shortbed 4x4 pickup

I was impressed how well that worked lol

Project farm is one of my favorite channels, I really enjoy his simple but seemingly effective tests
