Just a thought regarding posting pics of strangers' trucks...why not redact the licence plates and crop pics to remove street signs, addresses, other landmarks etc?

 

Too much work and we want people to know where they were spotted.

Maybe. But if pictures are taken in the public, on a road, street, or in front of an off road shop, I really don't think it should be an issue.

In someone's driveway, showing your house number and it street sign, then yes. It will be fuking lazy not to blur out the license plate, sign or number

 

I think a couple pictures on the regional subforum, of an enthusiasts forums that in and of itself is a fraction of the owner pool of this truck, isn't even close to being on the radar of potential thieves...and if they are I don't think blurring a license plate is gonna save it

 

Only legible plate is my own. Someone wants it bad enough they are going to get it.

I'd like to know more about the winch control plug on this rig. Is that a custom job or is it something that can be bought?

Damn, good eye. Ive been thinking about replacing the plug on mine with something more robust. Id think it would be easy enough to extend the 5 wires at the same time
