    After reading all this thread I really want to try this OTT7 tune. I have run a lot of tunes in the past since I’m always looking for something better than what I have, but always go back to the same tune.

    The only thing keeping me from trying this tune is the price for a VIN locked file.
    My wallet is saying “don’t do it” but my heart is saying “let’s give it a try” :rofl:

    Well,
    I totally get it. I'm a tune junky too. I've sifted and sorted through lots of tunes since the early days before the tuning software rebranded to vF Tuner. And while they all have provided a big improvement over stock, I still found a lot to be desired in manageable throttle response, smoothness, and low end power. I know these engines can handle it, but I just don't want to run my truck at 4,000+ rpm in order to get some decent power out of it.

    Then along comes Overland Tailor tune with a new tune that completely addresses everything that I felt the previous tunes were lacking. Who knows what the future holds (some custom logging/editing capabilities to dial in individual trucks would be awesome), but for now, my search for the best tune is finally over.

    Work in progress, but mods so far; OTT 7.0 tune, 255/85/16 Falken WildPeak M/Ts
    I had Alex (@TacoNesian) switch me over from KDMax-Pro to OTT 7.0 last weekend. So far, I have absolutely no regrets about changing over. OTT 7.0 fixed all the issues that bugged me with KDMax-Pro. My buddy (@jjbeenken) said it best “The difference in the 2 tunes can best be described as a level headed adult vs a teen hopped on 2 cans of Bang. While Pro was 'fun' it was too erratic. OTT is drivable and you forget it's there until you roll in the throttle and it pulls hard.”

    My truck now runs exactly like I wanted it to run when I bought it. For anyone on the fence, you don’t have to have an expedition rig to benefit from OTT 7.0. It is a great tune for a daily driver. On top of all of this, Alex always provides great support and service.
