FB groups... This damn Jeep Beach group went up there, and instead of helping him they bitched about it to the Outpost... We can't run the trail because someone broke

 

But yet those fuckers have no problem parking on the trails to take pics lol and wait for there group to catch up or block trails because of a Pebble on the trail so they have to get a spotter for it jahajajahahajajahahahaha

 

I bet you'll get out of it rather easy and the cop didn't know what they were doing. It shouldn't hold up in court. I live in NC and have had multiple cops behind me without a tags on my trailer and never had an issue. Even got a few thumbs up from a couple staties as they passed seeing the jeep.

 

Has anyone ever smoked a pork belly to make burnt ends? I've been wanting to make bacon burn ends since last year's trip to Jon G's. But I haven't been able to find a slab of unsliced bacon. I wasn't sure how much the curing process mattered.

 

@Sandman614 made some fantastic ones at the 1st Meat Meet. I think they were pork belly.

 

Actual meet meat needs to happen this year!

Past couple years it's been scheduled right when busy season for work starts.. I haven't been able to make it. 1st one was a blast.. other than it being hot as balls that day.

 

I didn't go to the first one but been to the last 2 tho .

 

It needs to be early spring or late fall when the weather is perfect for camping.

Boneless country style pork ribs will work in a pinch if you can't find pork belly, but they are a poor man's burnt ends. Still darn tasty, though.

 

Good to know. The last time I called my local Ol Timey meat market, they had pork belly. I'll see what they have this weekend.
