Y'all know what's really great? Finally coming out of your meat coma after the 2nd annual overland meat expo, helping your gf plant flowers by digging a hole and finding (and hitting with your shovel) 1 of the wires going out to your shop. The PO built a detached garage/shop. While I've enjoyed having that, they decided to run 4 separate wires, not in a conduit, to get power to this building. Just randomly buried in the ground. It made it thru the outer plastic and barely nicked the wire. Wrap that bish in electrical tape and bury it again. The measuring tape is so where I know it's at next time.

What's code? Hahaha

 

They make specific wire you can bury without conduit, but........ even with conduit there is should be and in some areas it's required a color marking tape buried as well before you get to it.
