yeah I had to verify it myself but I had a feeling it was going to be a short 1st season. A lot of streaming shows only do 8 - 10 episodes a season unless it's a primetime cable network tv show.

At the moment, there is no official word on a season 2 either. But given the popularity of the show I'm sure they will announce a season 2 renewal soon.

just finished the 2nd season of Russian Doll. I loved the 1st season. 2nd started with a strong premise and quickly lost direction. Last few episodes were the writers blatantly saying "we don't know how to wrap this up so we're going to dazzle you with unexplained mindfuckery and hope you don't notice."

...sort of like Outer Range.

 

OK we watched both last night.

The shit with the sheriff was enough. We quit. Just random almost lecturing BS. Why do they NEED that crap? Plus yeah. I mean the hole/whole thing is stereotype city.

I suppose the little white girl will have the answers. Such wisdom from Hollyweird.

 

Had this show Norsemen on my Netflix watchlist for a while and figured it was another of the Viking style shows that seem to be popping up lately. Gave it a shot the other night and it's actually a pretty smart comedy. If you need a sub-30 minute show to fill a gap in your nightly viewing schedule give it a try.

 

The Survivor on HBO max is great so far. Movie about a Holocaust survivor that survived Auschwitz by boxing other prisoners for the entertainment of the German officers. Then becomes a boxer in the US while trying to contend with the trauma from his past.

 

EXACTLY. Cool idea, shitty execution.
