Haha. I dropped my nearly new BMW on a soggy dirt road. Stopped to talk to my brother in his truck, foot sank in a lot further than I was ready for and over I went.

Been there done that in my Tacoma. No way would I do it on a bike. Need to work on my skills A LOT!

 

Went with a guy that had a completely stock 1st gen Tacoma with city slicks and he drove right up hells gate

 

should be riding up here with @LocoLocal tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully he doesnt back out/I get enough sleep from working overnight. I think its about 1.5 hours to get there.

wrap around hand guards man. I sent my bars into the side of a hill and log sticking out at like 20 mph last weekend and shit is still fuckin mint haha

i feel the opposite lol I feel I wanna do everything I already ran but know I’ll be able to do it all like 10x faster on a bike

Morning all. Going to check out a 22 yamaha t700 today. Gonna see if I like it or not. Still no luck on finding the mt09sp.

Gotta get to the dealer first lol. But will do.

 

Went to the dealer that said it was in stock the t700 and of course I get there n they never had it in the first place. They had a used mt09 there and wanted 12k for it when they cost 9.4k brand new. It was clean but not that clean for 12k.
Also after sitting on the mt09 I now know I'm not interested it one. Didn't feel at home on it. Next weekend I'm gonna go check out the ktm 890 Duke r. And possibly the bmw s1000r

 

That’s lame! What do dealers think they have to gain lying to people about stock

 

My guess is to lure people in to buy something else. Well we have this model. But this dealership is just like the one by my house not 1 salesman came up to me and I was there for 15mins. It's like they don't want to make money

 

A wise man once told me that it gets you into the showroom... But, if they knew how real people react, they'd know that it usually just pisses people off. Kinda like annoying ads that get stuck in your head. I'll be damned if I would EVER buy something that I hate so much. Same goes for dealerships...

 

They did have a new speed triple there that was nice. But I didn't like the feel of it.
