Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
Got my wheels and tires installed today. Really happy with the look.

I know! I tried every which way and had still had gaps with the trim ring. Maybe I got a funky China light from @tacomalifestyle. I'm not thrilled with having to go back to the oem light, but being waterproof is more important than looking cool.

Installed the new SSO offroad Tacoma rear bumper.
No it wont work w the rear bumpers that have sensors.
The instructions weren't great. And they actually were missing some things. Some stuff needs to be removed, some steel needed a small trim, shit like that. Ill probably make a stand alone thread for this.

But, i wanted the hitch up and out of the way, and some decent recovery points out back as well. All while still being able to use the truck bed and not have to dick with swing arms. Yes, id love some swing arms, but i use the bed a ton, and i just didnt want the hassle. Im making a hitch mounted carrier for offroad trips. So problem solved.

If you want specific details about the bumper itself, look at southern style offroads web site. Im not going to answer what did it cost or whats it weigh questions, look it up.

As of yesterday on my 21 magnetic grey Pro (6k miles), new Ironman4x4 Raid series bumpers, 9,500lb winch, light bar, and lights. Also Auxbeam AR-800 RGB 8 gang switch panel. Pretty happy with it all of it. Looked at a lot of bumpers, winch, and light combos. Finally settled on this package (on sale too 28% off). I think they blend really well. I did lose my blind spot monitors but goes with the territory. Next up RSG sliders on order, now the waiting game lol

Gunna be selling the original rear bumper w/BSM’s eventually and also the rigid fog lights and bezels from the front. Gotta get my posts up first for these new account I had to create :/ (old one went bye bye lol)

You know, anyone driving on the road or at the stores you're at can see your license plate.

It’s just common sense to strip the metadata from pics before posting on the internet and license plates obscured. I’m not worried about grandma at the store seeing the plate. There’s enough risks with Internet forums and flame wars that sometimes can happen where it’s better to just not. The grocery store is not Tacomaworld or Google search engine. Same reason you don’t post your last name, cell# or the city you live in. Same common sense.

Installed my Thule Xsporter Pro rack today. Now I can haul my canoes more safely. Unfortunately the way the bed is shaped this is the lowest setting for the bars...I'd rather have them sitting a couple inches lower for daily driving but meh, I can live with it.IMG_5739.HEIC.jpg

Going to pick up my boat tomorrow. Wife asked how she could help. I suggested she grease the shaft. Unfortunately she knew what I meant.

Curious, what's it weigh and how much does it cost? :D

J/K. The finished product looks great. I've been looking at SSO's rear bumper since it dropped. Dig the hidden hitch.

Did you ever install this? Just curious how it looked... I'm considering the same, but without the topo.

Now that it's all set up, I suspect it would take 10 minutes to take off and about 20 to put back on.
