I'm switching to this setup this year. Nemo roamer and the foam topper I have been using on my smittybilt mattress. Roamer is comfy as is so I cant wait to try it with an extra layer.

I have a 1.5" topper on top of my smittybilt mattress. Made me not as sore in the morning but I found it will close up to 1.5". didnt try 2" but 3" was way too thick to close.

This Sea to Summit Comfort Deluxe (Wide) is the most comfortable sleeping pad I have owned. I use this in the RTT and in the teardrop and it is excellent. In the RTT I just have the stock padding the FSR High Country 55 Deluxe shipped with and use this. In the teardrop I use this on top of a couple of Crate & Barrel couch cushions that I saved before I got rid of the couch. This thing can work as a topper or your camping mattress. Don't try to back pack with it though. This is car camping sized and doesn't pack down like the other Sea To Summit products.

Anybody use this pad? Can get a pretty good deal on it. Says pad/air combo.

Mine came with this. I do not like the gap underneath. so I’ll mount my new tent like my Smittybuilt 72018F21-3F14-4F7D-93D6-81B857F8899F.jpg

I'd bet you could use some cvt mounting hardware, got a pic of the rails on your tent?

I have some 1” wide by 1/4” thick aluminum flat stock. Cut it down to 5” long. Drill holes. Use rest of there mounting hardware. Just wondering if that aluminum will be strong enough.

Wow. CVT is proud of those plates. $15.00 a piece.

That is not a good application for aluminum. I'll risk sounding like a smart ass and ask why do you need dimensions when you can just measure your cross bar and go from there?

The new tent floor that ovs sent out for a warranty claim last octobe4 showed up a couple weeks back. I was able to find time finally after a chaotic couple weeks.

    20220430_152455.jpg

I was bit surprised to find it was a complete assembly including a new mattress

Swapping the fabric took about 40 minutes as a solo job. And was fairly intuitive process .

It started raining so i had to stop before getting straps, the skirt, and cover installed
