Anyone know how the fender liner clip goes back together? Talking about the front side, second from the bottom

I have Meso dome- and map lights, plus a fusebox cover that I haven't installed. The other stuff I feel frivolous or there are better alternatives on the market.

it's all bound to meet with the tree... the cheaper the better, I started picking tail lights off kijiji from the mall guys that get the fancy ones and sell OEM for less than anything found online.

Cracked while torquing with the torque wrench. Ball joint separator is on order. No more hammering to get the tie-rod to release. Live and learn.

One of those times torque wrench can lead you astray. The nut was way overtightened, basically acted like a cone expander and broke the spindle. Look how far past the notches the cotter pin hole is:

I cross-threaded the transmission pan check plug on my last truck torquing to spec. If you have any lubricants on the threads (antiseize, drained oil, grease), the FSM torque spec needs to be reduced by about a third.

Good to know. The torque is only 67 ft/lbs so I figured even with a “wet” torque it wouldn’t matter all too much. Also “always done it that way” so didn’t even think too much about it. Happy it happened in the driveway.

So far I haven’t broke the spindle wheeling or because of wheeling (other then the cracks). Should be okay. Worst case I’ll gusset underneath.
how else am I going to get my groceries and frapachino
