I talked to my dealer again today. He thinks there will not be any more Pro"s this year at least in a 6MT. The one Sport Premium 6MT that they had sold. They do have an allocation for a MGM Sport Premium 6MT eta July but he said don't hold your breath. He said its really bad right now. Also ordering opens in July for 23's and production is scheduled to start in September so i may wait it out a bit.

I talked to the Inventory Manager at my dealership today (Whitehorse, Yukon). I put a deposit on January 26 for a TRD Pro and he said that there is a transmission reconfiguration happening on the 6M and that they have a meeting on Monday or Tuesday (April 25-26) where they'll learn if they are being pulled or not... I was hoping for quite a different conversation...

Any rumors of what the new Tacoma will encompass?

The 3rd generation is now tried and tested, but come the new 4th, you're talking about possible issues w/a whole new design, especially if it has any mechanical changes.

As such, I wouldn't buy a first year model.

I am sooo glad I bought my Sport Premium package last year....must say though I would be tempted to sell, I could probably get almost $60k for it these days

The prices of used tacos around here are crazy. 1 or 2 year old tucks with up to 70,00KM are sitting on car lots for over $55 grand, that's nearly $10,000 more than a new truck

The same here where I live in Southern California, though they tend to be mainly models w/the TRD package than Tacoma's w/a basic package.

I went and bought a used 2020 TRD Sport, w/Access Cab, w/a 6 Speed M/T, and 16K miles on it, last Fall for around $43K US.
It was exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't find a new one anywhere, especially w/the Access Cab w/a M/T.
M/T's are especially hard to find here in California.
I had to travel well over 600 miles round trip to purchase it at a Toyota Dealership up near San Francisco. Luckily there were no mods on it, and in excellent shape.

Yet my sister, who lives back East, bought a brand new 2021 TRD Offroad, Crew Cab, w/a M/T, last Spring for around $35K.

Well... I got an update Friday.
Toyota is still building the MT's, just at a slower rate. So looks like I'll have to wait a couple more months for a TRD Pro MT. At least it's coming!

    Well, FML.
If anybody cares, I got a call saying that I'll have to wait for a 2023. No timeline. :(

This is accurate, same here. I also cased many dealers across the country a few days ago, all TRD Pro orders cancelled and no ETA on when you can order one. Rumour has it they won't be building them even in 2023...

Seems my 2022 lunar rock off road premium now worth more than 60k in the market, never thought this would be real.

My sales guy got the word that my truck is arriving in early December. That will make it about 8.5 months since the order was placed. We'll see how this pans out.

You don’t need to say what dealership but I’m having a really hard time finding used TRD Pros all over Ontario. I’m talking tundras, 4Runners and tacomas.

    Check build thread!
I’m actually no longer employed by them lol. But I’ve found Russel Toyota in Peterborough has always treated me exceptionally well.
