Whats the difference when youre trying to sleep haha.

She howls a little. Not like a husky though.

I nixed that shit real quick. First few nights she got up at 2 to take a dump. I started walking her right before bed to get her to go. Then if she started fussing I shoved the crate into the hallway and shut my door. Problem solved.

The odd thing is sitting so far forward so when you crawl over something the front axle feels like it is under your butt. I've got a long tail being an EB so we will keep pushing the envelope to find just how capable it is. So far I'm impressed!

she will grow out of it eventually

But the time between then and now is very frustrating... Does she make it through the night OK otherwise?

well that sure is annoying lol

My old dog literally never cries so I only get a few seconds of notice when I hear him scuttling down the steps into the basement early morning... If I don't hear and stop him the smell will wake me up instead :bananadead:

That's awesome. It sucks hearing them cry but training them that crying isn't acceptable now is key or it never gets better haha

The EB was I test drove a few times, it seemed like the logical choice, might as well have some extra ass. I'm sure you'll get used to and be impressed by its limits. I feel like a Baja trip or something the like will be where it really shines

It's the scuttling that always wakes me up. If I don't get up then she barks. Lucky she holds it till I get up.

They usally grow out of it. Both my dogs nipped as pups. But now i can put my finger in their mouth whole they eat and they will stop instantly. (I wouldn’t try this with your dog unless you trust them)

Shoving my finger down her throat to trigger a gag when she bites seems to work the best so far.

Biting my ankles/socks/shoes when walking is gonna be tough to break too. Shes a heeler so its innate. I just need to teach her not to heard me.

I got a goat farm 200 yards from the house. Believe me, Ive been tempted to drop her in their pen. Funny enough the farmer has a heeler too.

I did that with my dogs. worked well. Not that your having kids soon but thats definitely something you wanna stop before kids

Yeah i never had a problem walking and biting. but i got dogs that instinctively just wanna pull, and thats a issue im still trying to work on.
