How’d this play out? Curious for my relentless but not in a rush at all since I still have stock wheel/tire spare lol…

Haven't went through with the spare swingout yet, been busy and he's on the list for a shock relocate, so will probably discuss the swingout/see his bumper in person to see how easy it would be to make work!

Went with that! So far its been flawless. Pretty instant engangement, a hair slow on disengagement when everything is bound up but thats expected. No airlines or compressor to worry about which is nice.

Nice to hear. Do you still have stock CV's?

That's my biggest concern right now, but don't really want to drop $2k on RCV's. I don't wheel my truck hard at all, so the front locker is like my winch, JUST IN CASE. I will carry a spare with me, but prefer not to wrench trailside.

Did you see this recovery/front CV failure? Worst case.

Yeah still my factory Cv's, one is clicking pretty bad at full droop but thats after 50k miles of wheeling haha.
I've learned to be pretty cautious with the locker, I'd say theres less of a chance of breaking a CV with a locker than without, as you aren't flooring it up something then having the open diff do its thing and shock the drivetrain.
I carry a handful of spare tie rods as those flex quite a bit now, carry a spare Cv on local trips and 2 Cvs on farther away from home trips. I can swap a Cv in about 10-20 minutes usually. Also about to carry a spare wheel bearing (might integrate it and have it for my spare tire mount).
