Apparently they removed any mention of the hood decal from the site recently

 

Black badging on the tailgate. Chrome badging on sides. I’m picking it up Monday so I’m gonna at least request the black badging as it still shows on the website.

Are you getting the OR premium or just OR? There's definitely been delays for any trims that have blindspot monitoring, lack of parts availability seems to be the issue and it's affecting everything from Sports through to Pros. I got an allocation in Feb (ordered in Jan) but I got the base OR trim without blindspot monitoring. Some people are having allocations cancelled or pushed back and most dealers are essentially saying they have no idea when the pipeline will open up again. I will say though, it's surprising/unlucky your dealer didn't get an allocation in January/Feb as there was plenty being allocated then before the parts shortage became an issue, it's just that now those allocated orders are getting cancelled or pushed back.

 

Get it from the dealer as an option and try to have them put it in for free. It was advertised like that on the Toyota Canada website. I have a screenshot of that page before it was taken off their site last week.

It’s the French version. I also have the full page (in French too). This is for the hood decal. I believe the side emblems are still on the site in the truck details.

Finally got my VIN from the dealer on my ELG Pro Auto.
Now the status says “Released To Truck Loading”. You would think it’s getting close??
But they pushed the delivery back another week. So I wait another 2 weeks from now.

I told my dealer about the chrome Tacoma badging on the doors and the missing hood decal, and they didn’t seem to care. lol

 

Installed the RCI bed rack and Revolver X4s tonneau cover yesterday.

 

What are your initial impressions on the Revolver X4S? I'm thinking of a Yakima Overhaul and either the X4S or a Retrax, but I'm not super keen on losing 1' of bed space with the Retrax.

 

Just installed it, difficult to tell you much about it (never had any other to compare to). Easy to install and works well with the rack (on tonneau cover adapters). Seems well made.

Now I have a question for you 2022 TRD Pro owners only. What was the MSRP price you all paid?
I signed the papers in Oct 2021. Seems like the MSRP went up.
But then it seems like they are adding extra fees (typical dealer scams).
So if you feel comfortable, all I wanna know is what is the MSRP you paid.

 

Wrapped just like when mine came in. $55,230 is what MSRP is, but you have to add transport ($1,800 here) to that for the « real price » showing on the contract. Then you add license fees ($400 here) and taxes. That should be it.

 

MSRP went up by $440 on Jan 1.

I signed up for $1k under msrp plus block heater, freight/pdi, and typical admin fee (back in October)

 

can confirm, had that surprise when I signed on Jan 4th. When I quibbled over the charge the sales manager was gonna go get the email from corporate...I told him not to bother.

 

my eta is 5/12 to 5/20 according to my sales person....anticipation is building ! hope it arrives sooner

 

just picked my Pro up. I expressed to them my disappointment about the badging and decal. The sales team was unaware that these where features of the truck. Once I showed them the website pics they decided they would provide what was missing free of charge.

 

Did the same and got the badges and hood decal for free, but… this is the 2021 decal (all black, not like the new one). They said it wasn’t even available in Canada (at the moment). Let us know if you get the 2022 version and if there’s a part number.

Has anyone heard of their trucks being “on hold” at port? My dealer has informed me my truck and thirteen others are sitting at port with no reason as to why. Going on 4 weeks now (22 TRD Pro).
