I'd look at every dealer you can. Good chance you'll find one.

I got an update on Friday (April 28), and I was told that Toyota still builds the MT's but at a slower rate. I'll just have to wait longer for the TRD Pro MT, they said a few more months. I'm stoked! haha :)

Well my ETA just vanished, after the odometer ticking over to 4 and tires dropping to 32psi. I'm thinking it was taken off the boat and maybe moved onto a truck.

Still showing as 'F' on v-spec....the suspense is killing me.

My dealer sells the tracking device you can use to follow your Taco if it gets abducted.
I have one on my HD Softail Slim, my wife uses it to track me on the bike while I'm out canyon carving.

I'm definitely not into the whole tracking thing, no matter what the reason is. I see why some people like it though.

I agree with you on not being excited about getting it. Mine is supposed to get her around 5/12 but I'm not holding my breath anymore.

Hmmm, a Blue Crush Metallic TRD Sport DCSB; if that bad boy has a manual transmission then you stole my truck (which is on "order"). Looks good, congratulations!

Tracking can be a slippery slope, I agree. It gives the wife peace of mind as I go on long rides alone in the mountains and she can at least locate my bike if I get KO'd by a moose or a boulder.

CONGRATS Reed! And a big Thank You for turning me on to Ed Martin Toyota! If I had known about them, I would've probably ordered my truck from them. They're 120 miles from me, and the sales guy you recommended, (I think it was Mike) was a stand up guy. He went and looked my truck for me even though I didn't spend a dime there. They're on my radar now if I buy another vehicle.

Temp VIN stopped working finally! Based on emails from my dealer last night, they don't know the permanent VIN yet but at least it's progress. Now just waiting for delivery...I still don't know how some of you didn't go insane waiting for your trucks.

I keep checking their site and auto trader. That's the new obsession now that the temp doesn't work. Gotta get my fix of Tacoma Internet research somehow.

How do you know when your temp vin stops working? Where do I check that? My vin works on the toyota owners website. Build scheduled for 5/7.
