Not sure on express or ground. Didn't really care how long it took, they are wiper blades and I live in San Diego!:D

Probably just my fat finger, I used a website called SkyVector. It's used for aviation planning.

They absolutely do...wish they would relax their grip, it's quite uncomfortable!o_O

I read some great thing so I figured I would give them a try. Now that I think of it though, wipers aren't very useful in San Diego. Should have gone the cheaper refill route!

I have the same problem with Amazon. At least a half dozen packages have been mis-delivered so far this year. The pictures the Amazon dude/dudette takes are obviously not our house and when we try to get a refund or replacement we have to wait a few days just in case another magically shows up at our house. It's frustrating.

It's a website called SkyVector. It's used for aviation planning.

My last experience with FEDEX Freight was great. CVT Mt. St. Helens RTT was delivered by a nice gentleman who went far out of his way to help get the massive crate into my yard. CVT warns not to accept any assistance beyond the crate being offloaded from the truck using the lift because charges will apply. I live on a busy street near the coast and houses are packed in tight. My house is behind the house on the street, and only access from that street is a narrow gate and a 3' wide x 100' long alley. He helped us get the crate all the way back to house no charge.

Absolutely! We have a lot of youngins that are great to work with, very respectful, smart, hardworking, and listen. These young punks keep this ol veteran on his toes and more open minded, I like it.

I am a boomer and worked hard all my life to pay for my retirement that I am now enjoying. Millennials biggest bunch of cry babies there is. Time for them to move out of mommies basement and face the real world like we Boomers did. As for the Zoomers you are the product of the Millennials and I feel sorry for you as you have a long life ahead trying to better change the way our countries are ran. Just saying.

FedEX is a POS. They've done that to me a few times and the other thing they do is report delivered when it hasn't. One time they delivered to the wrong house, and the other time the guy just reported delivered for no reason and deliver it the next day first thing. Oh, and I usually get other people's stuff delivered to me too lol. It's a $h!t show man

Wow, the crap I just read in this thread are beyond batshit crazy. The sense of entitlement in today's society (both young and older generation to be frank) is beyond comprehension, I am glad my boys do not think alike. One is joining the service, why? His words: ".....don't want to keep being a burden [to us] financially, and I'm ready to branch off and carve my own path" My other son has two jobs, construction during the day [after high school], and restaurant kitchen during the night. They work hard, they know the pay sucks but do not bitch. They come home and put 30% of their pay into their Roth IRA account. They've been like this since they were 16. The one thing I always told them is regardless of what you do, do it to the best of your ability. Mopping the floor, washing dishes, replacing a roof, re-building an engine block, mail man, FedEx, it doesn't matter. Do each job to the best you can and do not be a mediocre employer; don't worry about the other guy/gal. Be respectful, have integrity, and work hard. Embrace the grind and it will pay off. I told them they are already rich, they just don't know it yet. They own the most important commodity in life, and they own a massive amount of it, time. Money can buy gold, silver, etc, but no amount of money can buy time, and they have a ton of it. Keep your nose clean, grind, save and invest, and you will enjoy the richest later in life. It's your life, take ownership, both the good with the bad, and don't blame others for whatever decision you make.

    ---------------

Aaahh, yeah, sorry, FedEx.. yes it suck! :)

I BEG merchants not to ship FedX! And usually find another merchant if that's all they use.

fedex never delivers my stuff on time, when checking tracking, it will sit someplace for days, then it get to a hub 15 miles away and sits there also, i think the hold back packages untill they have a few heading that way for delivery..

I am happy for you that your boys were well brought up by you. You have showed them what life is all about and work hard to get what you want out of life. I know so many that were the opposite of what you did and they are irresponsible cry babies that blame their parents and the world for being losers. I always said upbringing is the key to life.
Again I will tell you that you should be proud of what you have done for your sons.

I couldn’t agree more on FedEx sucks. Over the last 2-3 years (probably longer) they have devolved into a crap delivery service. They used to rule the landscape, not so much anymore. I have not had 1 decent delivery from FedEx in years, something always happens (late, lost, package travels 1,500 miles for a 65 mile delivery, on the truck for delivery, wait not on the truck, nope yes it’s on the truck you’ll have it in 2-3 days, etc.).

The sucky service started a couple years before Amazon dropped them. While Amazon I am sure was planning the move to their own deliveries before that, I like to think Amazon started to see the writing on the wall with FedEx complaints getting worse and worse. They were the big boys on the block and they got complicit.

    How to compete with FedEx:

#1. Deliver it when you promise.
#2. Deliver it to the address on the label.
#3. Actually try to deliver it.
#4. Have tracking/notification service that is accurate and uses todays technology.
#5. Again, Deliver it when you promise.

That is the best part of the whole thing. Every day, I look at them, I get this huge feeling of pride. They are great boys!

My 19-year-old now details vehicles while he waits for boot camp. He is charging $100 a car, boy is grinding lol. He did such a good job for his friend's dad car, that now a bunch of vets from the local VFW want him to do their cars lol. Boy is booked for the next few weeks . $100 a pop? not bad

Can you get Sightline wiper blades at the autoparts store? Even if it was $20 more that might be worth it.

FedEx Ground does not deliver around here on Mondays, what kind of business isn't open on a Monday? Besides a bar, local resturart, barber shop, or stripclub. What are their employees supposed to do on their day off?

Like a lot of cities now we have a Amazon's distribution hub in my city. I order stuff all the time that leaves that hub in my city gets shipped to Seattle or Denver and then shipped back. You would think they would be more efficient. So often the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Not that big of a deal I still get stuff I order twice as fast as my parents did when I was a kid.

Agreed,I ask FedEx to redirect my set of wheels to a different delivery location, and they couldn’t even get that right. Driver attempted to deliver 2 wheels at my house and the other two at chosen location…smh
