Hmmm, Tennessee is only in 41st place, which has to be due to all the whiskey and moonshine distilleries in these parts.

 

Spent 55 years living there and the most I ever paid for gas was just over $5 per gallon . So anything under $5 is a welcomed sight

 

89 dropped down to 5.79 a gallon.


I would rather talk about beer.

It's cheaper

 

Sadly a 12-pack of good beer is $12, so here it is still three times more expensive than gasoline.

 

Yuengling is $11.99 for a 12-pack here. There are other beers that are less expensive and some that are more expensive, but that is what I like.

I can saunter on beer

 

Good evening peeps! Hmmm, gas prices.. the 4runner got thirsty on Saturday after returning with the 2nd trailer load of Ash wood "rounds", $4.17 and about $60 to make it happy. Today the Taco was thirsty, $4.28 at the same gas station. $78 disappeared from my checking account. Some rednecks in a WT trailer park chariot the next isle over were complaining about the $5.99 a gallon the diesel was costing.. I guess their "real truck" is costing a lot to fill up to create the black smoke out of the kenworth exhaust stack coming out of the bed.

It rained today, but at least it was a tad warmer outside. I hope that the woodstove ran for the last time on Saturday. I have a massive pile of wood to get split and stacked into the shed, anyone want to help next weekend?
