You’ll see some bourbon thread regulars such as myself and @Cativelense posting damn good beers in there.

 

It’s the 750ml. Just a weird angle. And my source can get them for me for 75-80 usually.

 

Ok back to the bourbon, going to try to like the McKenna again. This time on ice instead of neat. Maybe it’ll be better like this, I really want to enjoy it more than I do.

 

You guys are overpaying for Blanton’s, I get mine for $55.

Lucky… no one Has it in stock around here and when they do get it in, it’s over $120 and gone within a day… I’m happy with $75 and I can get it when I want it.

It’s helpful to have some military exchanges nearby that don’t charge over retail and are run by good folks that I’ve gotten to know.

 

Its good. Not stellar but for the cost it’s a good pour. I’m a sucker to try something new. I can’t say that’s it’s a stand out pour but it’s worth owning. I like it better than this damn McKenna hahaha….

I tried to like it as well. I don’t even like it as a mixer. It was probably the most disappointing bourbon I’ve had. But that’s just my pallet. Cheers

Honestly. I don’t know how many bottles they have but I’d buy them all at $55 a piece if they let you. I’m sure you’ll score a 107 in trade if you have Blantons on hand.

 

Trying to make a choice for my next pour but just enjoying this view…. Why does this brown liquid have to be so enchanting. I could look at it all night.

 

settled on Baby Blue for my next pour. Another one I want to like more than I do.

 

Basically I can get my hands on two Blanton’s a year. That’s plenty for me, don’t quite get the volume to hook anyone up, even close friends unfortunately.

 

Nice setup and selection! I’m looking to get mine out of the pantry next to the dog treats and canned goods and into a proper set up soon.
