With a 3.4l or smaller yota engines I'm a big fan of 5.29s for 34-35s regardless of what the RPM charts say :D

At the altitude here I'd rather be at higher RPMs and holding gear than have 4.88s and have to downshift more frequently :notsure:

May not even have to tub.

My 2.7 lived on the rev limiter before the turbo. Wish I had 5.29 then.

My stock 3.4 t100 was almost on the limiter pulling a 4000lb boat the other weekend doing 40mph. I'm curious how the turbo will pull it....

Thats why I am torn between 4.88 and 5.29. The ol 3.4 wouldnt mind some more RPMs anyhow haha

Thats why im so intrigued as well. Less work to install new arms than having to tub more.

Taller gears are weaker and You break gears a lot lol. Honestly I just don’t like the 5.29 whine

I just drove from COS to Denver in my Civic and held 5th gear the whole way. It was nice. I'd have to drop to 4th and maybe 3rd (depending on speed) for some of those grades in my Tacoma.

That car is geared so 80mph is pushing 4,000 RPM.

Sway bar delete. Should probably invest in some Alan wrenches.

Swapped uni balls and greased the UCAs. Inspected the front end….still no cracks or anything alarming. Bolts were all tight. Passenger uni ball was completely shot, driver was was in decent shape. Got 50k out of them.

Set pinion angle, tacked perches in place, pulled out the axle and fully welded the perches before painting. :burp:
