The pics don’t do it justice.

She’s kept up with the ongoing improvements too, beyond where they’re at in real life. For example - the solar panels (IROSA) on top of the older panels are complete whereas IRL, only one is currently installed.

 

@PzTank Thanks for posting the pics, looks like a fun event!

I like the gantry for the Ideas Saturn V, and the architecture and building complex builds are fantastic. You might be hard pressed to find another crab boat anywhere, though...

Just finished r2d2… wife bought me the dozer for a birthday gift . Only did bag 1 last night.

 

May 4th is Star Wars Day - It's a take off on "May the Force (Fourth)be with you."

I guess you need to be a Star Wars geek to appreciate some of the sets. I'm super happy to get a gwp Lars Family Homestead Kitchen

I got the r2d2 set for me and Saturn v for my mom for Mother’s Day.

 

It’s a little vignette where a kid has built a cardboard spaceship

 

Built the XL-15 tonight. I don't care about the movie it's from but I do love spaceships, and this one is solid. Yeah, I'd like to see a slightly lower price, but there are some very nice techniques to get the clean wing angles with minimal gaps. It was a very nice build, and probably better than it really needed to be.



And as you can see, Benny fits really well behind the controls. (hint hint, @MTgirl...)

 

Looks great. Can't wait for it to go on sale.
LEGO would kill if it brought out classic space again.

 

I plan to recolor it. It would be just about perfect

 

the boba fet layer set was on sale at Costco today for 59.99 picked one up.

Grabbed a landspeeder and the imperial luke and a couple of other smaller sets today along with the freebies they give out.

 

Ahh I had forgotten that Costco had those on discount. Hmmm...what to do.
