parking light wiring

Hi my name is Jigs and i'm new to this forum. I have a 2011 Tacoma and i bought an after market projector with halo & led lights. My concern is that i could not find a picture of how to wire the halo & led lights to the parking light. There are 2 wires, a white and green wire i don't know the polarity of these wires. I s the white wire positive or negative? Please help.

 

Green is Positive ( 12 VDC ) and White with Black Stripe is Ground ( negative ).

What’s the wire size to the parking lights

 

Is that the same with 3rd gen? I'm trying to locate parking lights on my '16 SR5

 

No, the 3rd gen uses different colors.


Marker lights - Front
Left - Purple
Right - Yellow

Parking Lights - Front
Left - Pink
Right - Blue

You can check the colors above with a test light at the connector for each light.
Just to confirm they are correct.


BTW, we have a 3rd Gen section. You’d probably find a lot more help over there.
- Not that use 2nd Gen guys don’t want to help. It’s just most of use don’t know a lot about the 3rd Gens
