As I was entering the intersection the Brake warning started flashing and making audible noises. No cars around me.

Fortunately the vehicle didn’t engage engine breaking or braking.

Very odd. Searched forum but found no results.

Should I take to dealer to do a one over? Anything I should look for?

Happens on rare occasion. Mine did it exactly twice within the first year of ownership and then hasnt happened since.

Sometimes it freaks out over a rapidly approaching shadow.

No fog or rain. Sun already out this morning. No birds or animals in the road.

Any sort of overpass or bridge in front of you as you were approaching the intersection? I believe the owners manual mentions this as a condition of "situations where TSS may not work as expected".

I took my truck in for a TSS sensor recall a year or two ago. You might wanna run your VIN and see if it applies to your truck too....

I had that recall. The official fix was to take a piece of weather-foam and stick it to the top of the sensor. That was it, they just wanted to keep moisture out of the grille emblem.

That reminds me, I just replaced my grille with aftermarket. I need to run to Ace and pick up a new piece of foam. :D

Happens to me occasionally on my 2018. Never caused a problem. A overpass scared it one day, poor truck!

I had the recall which included reprograming the sensor. Still does it occasionally. One day a lady stopped on a 55 mph highway for no reason to a sudden stop. The PCS hit my brakes and beeped like crazy. Saved my from rear ending her, and I was not tailgating her. She just decided to slam on the brakes with no off ramp in sight. I love my PCS.

I have experienced this three time in the exact same spot right up the road from my house. Something or someone is causing this for it to be in the same spot and only there. I dont know if some kind of short wave or ham radio can cause this, but it only happens there.
