    A regular block eraser like we used to use in gradeschool works to get that off. Just rub it hard don't be shy (that's what she said).

    Removing the headliner makes the job easier but it is a lot of work! It helps if you have somebody help you pull the headliner while you work on the light on your truck bed. Just like in the install video that they posted on youtube. Stick your finger in the hole :anonymous: and blindly feel where the bolt is at. It is at the bottom part of the hole not in the middle. I used a deep socket with a 3” extension. Once I slid the socket in the bolt and through the nut I attached the socket handle and started undoing the nut. I did end up dropping the nuts but you can recover them once you removed the light. This part is the easiest IMO. The hardest part is installing the nuts of the new light.:annoyed:

    Already tried that. This is either tar or like baked oil because the emblems have been there since 2016.

    I installed the Sokitech Hood Lifts, this weekend also, very easy install. The instructions in the package suck. I watched the video by Rob Motive to install these. Only decent video around. Took me all of 15 minutes to do,
    Clean the hood well, the only added thing i did was put thick double sided tape down the whole bar that sticks to the underside of the hood for added support. , and i cleaned the surface well and let it dry.

    Yes but it wasn't very difficult. Seller provides a step by step video for the whole process. The vinyl arrived pretty beat up cause the postman shoved it in the mailbox but smoothed out easily.

    @Pilvr83

    That review was for a different gen tacoma. The light in this link is in fact bolted from the inside underneath the headliner. Exact same part as tacomalifestyle; even has the dudes truck in the pictures. :rofl:

    SSO Slimline Hybrid Tubular or whatever they call it. Lightest bumper I could find at about 70lbs (other than the aluminum options). Winch is a new Smittybuilt 10k unit, synthetic line. Went as light as I could.

    Ditch lights are Diode Dynamics SSC1 Pro's. They seem to work well for ditch lights without being super bulky. Lightweight, not expensive, brackets are SDHQ low pros.

    i know it sounds crazy, but try using peanut butter to get the old emblem imprints off. Trust me. get yourself an old t-shirt or other cotton rag, dip it in a tub of crunchy peanut butter, and rub it into the imprints you want removed. It takes some elbow grease, but it will remove them 100%.
    My dad used to keep a tub of peanut butter in the garage just for this purpose. It will remove glues, sticky stuff, oil messes, paint, you name it. It is my go-to trick for removing shit i get on clothes, etc.
    its funny but man I’m tell ya, it works. I used it to completely remove any trace of decals off the side of my rear fenders when i took my huge trd sport decals off.

    Can someone explain to me why Toyota made it so fucking hard to put the drivers side kick panel back on where the clips will actually hold? I spend more damn time trying to get the panel back in place correctly than I do actually working on a project. Irritates the hell out of me.
