    I doubt any team is purposely losing to face a certain team in the playoffs. That would be a stupid move.

    It’s typical to sit 3-4 players in a game that doesn’t mean anything, saving them from injury before playoffs, but the Bruins Toronto game was a fight for finishing in the money or settling to be a wild card. You don’t sit 8 players if you want to win the game and I have no doubt the Bruins would rather play the Canes than Toronto again in the playoffs and are more than fine with losing and being the wild card so that they could. Although the Canes handily beat them all 3 games in early regular season play the Bruins have had great success against the Canes in playoffs. But this is a different year, different Canes team so we’ll see how Bruins getting their wish works out. I expect some good games especially with Freddie out of the goal with injuries for perhaps a few games, but I don’t think it’s gonna work out well at all for the Bruins when it’s done.
