Same here especially after the first response I got for the original issues. If they blew me off again I was just going to trade in for a daniel defense .308 gas gun.

175s aren’t too long in general for gas guns.
Go to a PRS match or any long range shooting event where people might run gas guns and use secant ogive high BC bullets. The military included might I add. The exact bullet is a 175gr SMK used in most m110…with no complaint of feed issues.

The issue is a tight chamber. That’s just how they ream these barrels, compared to say a rem 700 where they use a ton of freebore. As I’ve said before.

Edit: gas guns oal really should be limited by the magazine. Not the chamber. I have a BA barrel (aero) that doesn’t have this problem.

Yeah I'm not buying their excuse for that.
I'm hoping will come back with new properly sized chamber and correctly finished feed ramps or a new barrel all together

Left to right are 147, 175, 123 and 220g, all 308. CBTO for 147 and 175 should be nearly the same. The heavier bullets leave less room for powder and usually end up being the same OAL anyway. If a round fits in the AR mag, a round can't really be "too long" for an AR. Too short could be a problem (123g) because they leave the magazine before tip gets to chamber.

Just wanted to ask, and this is probably a stupid question, but are you using 175gr M118-type rounds? Are you using the longer interior length M118 PMAGs as well?

Don't think the federal gmm is same spec as m118 but if it were the pmags I have are designed for it

    M118LR is spec’s up to 2.82/3
Pmag should be fine, or you have a lemon.

I don’t remember (and frankly I don’t care) what the newer shit is (like MK 316 MOD series) I’m sure someone can find a publication if they cared.

It’s going to all be abouts the same.

Yeah I've cycled through 5-6 different pmags and a Lancer don't think it's mag related.
I'll have them address feed ramps and tight chamber as well as confirm gas port spec.

I'm pretty sure the buffer system with the sprinco orange is fully dialed in now. Hopefully this will be it and I'll have a reliable weapon when it comes back.

Tis why I like illuminated reticles even on normal (non LPvO scopes). Low end power say x3-5 the illumination is a little (red) cross.

x8-25 I use the reticle, but that’s usually magnification appropriate for holds. I don’t know why you would use the reticle at low end power anyways unless you need to measure misses. For anything close, say within 500y, you’d be hard pressed to be that far outside of max PBR.

That eotech circle dot at 1x looks pretty close to a SFP size at 1x downside is unlike sfp won't have the full reticle tree at 1x but most wouldn't be using it at 1x anyway.

This is by far one of the best 1x ffp lpvo views I've seen.

The reticle is very nice and I could most likely use it at low power. I looked at the voodoos and liked what I saw only 2 issues for me was I can’t see red very well so all my optics that illuminate are green and the price

Aero upper is on its way back to the factory. Sent bcg with it so they can look at the entire package to sort clearance issues feed ramps etc etc
