I use factory Toyota filter and Mobile 1 Synthetic. Every other oil change I use the Lucas Synthetic Oil additive.

Not everyone has a manual, google, a dealer, autozone, pep boys, Hi-lo, or walmart ... to help them out.

That is the one piece of info worth repeating. That filter cut open demo.. was like watching an info-mercial with the unhelpful editorial comments, but did show the factory filter to appear nicer. AND, when purchased online can be had for less than the fram toughguard.
Instantly went out and ordered a case.

ANd I just mean the filter thing... not Mr lucas's mystery snake oil additive.

and even better. Its a meaningless question.

I'll go start the "which hair length goes best with a TRD cai." What does joe walmart know about oil and filters? I like orange, so I bought fram for years.
I don't have a filter wrench, so I bought whichever level came with the grip stuff on it. Toyota racing used to say castrol on it, so I bought castrol. Anyone got a better reason? [IMG]

Take it to Wal Mart, they have trainned oil change technicians that are experts at changing oil and they do it for less money than what it would cost you if you buy the oil and filter yourself.
Also if they screw up and ruin your engine Wal Mart will pay for the repair.
I know many repair claims have been filed against Wal Mart for repairs after they screw up the oil changes, one woman I know Wal Mart paid for a new transmission on her Nissan Sentra after they left the trans oil 3 quarts low, another guy with a Chevy S10 got a new engine cause the oil filter thy installed leaked cause it wasn't installed correctly.

The oil change technicians at Wal Mart always know whats the best grade of oil for your engine, say if your engine calls for a 5W20, they feel its better to use a 10W30, cause they are trainned and educated on different grades of oil, they have certificates hanging on the wall to prove they are genuine and true oil change technicians, they even have special patches on their uniforms "oil change technician"
    wow!!!! I am impressed!
