did my oil change a few weeks ago, drained the catch can, found a ice disc in the bottom about 3/4" thick, and the oil/water/fluid in the can was REALLY THIN and runny. those of us living in freezing climate's may want to drain the catch can more often in winter, for condensation. your results may vary. I clean my JLT catch can every 500 miles. There is always a little bit in there. I used one on my Mustang too and think for the money the JLT is the best one. Jay does very nice work and a hell of a great guy.

I didn't cut any hoses, just took out part 12261 as per @eurowner's link and clamped new hoses in its place.

I see a need or a general purpose for those like me who live in colder climates, but drive short trips looks like the purpose for it. Glad to see they can be had for a lower cost the one I seen was 2 c-notes.

Just saw it when I was looking at picking one up. I'll probably go with the Radium.

I don't know how worried to actually be and want to scope the valves. This is the 3 hole at 65k. I'm really happy with that.

    20220211174613183.jpg

1 and 5 were too close to TDC to see a decent amount and I was ready to be done when I was doing the left bank because of an issue with my spark plug socket. Loooong story.

On a recent trip, a group of us found a hill that was around 40deg and had no issues.

    Just not sure overall.

My view with catch cans is that they probably can't hurt, but they might help. If you enjoy working on your truck, go for it.

That’s the lowest price I have found. Did you buy it? I’m making myself wait, or at least I’m trying to.

$410.99?? Wow that’s expensive. I wouldn’t have bothered to put a catch can on my truck if I had to spend anywhere near that much coin on one.
If you really think you need a dual set-up, would it not make more sense to just buy two regular catch cans and connect them in series? You could use fancy Aeroquip lines and fittings and still save money.

No offense intended, it’s your money, I’m just making a suggestion because I think that system is way overpriced for what it is.....

How much oil does the other, or rather the NEW catch can catch?

I have the regular one (PCV or CCV???) people have been buying for awhile. Works great. Catches liquid oil/gas/water. No problem.

Now this 2nd one?? WTF?? How much does it catch?? THAT is the BIG QUESTION.

Does anyone have a flow diagram ?

You obviously did not read the Radium web page. There is no need for Aeroquip lines and fittings for this application.

Nice addition to your post count.
