now that you mention it, I “rode” all 3 of mine today too! Rode the Harley to lunch, scooted on the ATC to get it out of the way si I could dig out the XS750 and mess with the wiring. I was able to get everything wired back together and laughed my ass off when I was testing the controls and the horn actually worked. Startled me even though I was intentionally pressing the button for a function check. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the horn on it. Even back when I rode it as my daily, I can’t remember honking.
Moving forward I’ll be building a tray for all the wiring and a battery box and them go about cleanly extending the harness. Then I can move to building the seat and tail section.

Good mix of bikes! Have you looked into white plastics for the Navi? It sticks out a little compared to the rest of your bikes.

i feel this way whenever I have all my toys in one spot. Seeing both the husky and drz together makes me really wish I could keep the drz or get another bike with it but it just feels like a waste since I will never ride it. Unless it’s like an e bike.

i feel that way now with the truck in the shop. I need a bigger shop.

Oh and husky is now registered and legal, hoping to rip it tomorrow night.

I dream of the day I can replace the flat joists with a vaulted ceiling
    IMG_5478.jpg

damn the pano pics make things look way bigger than reality

you have space to blow the ceiling out and go up with some lifts and a loft??

I hear you on the bittersweetness of the drz though... sad to see it go, but off to a new home.

The ceilings are actually tall enough to get a small lift in, some of my neighbors have it. I think they are 12 ft? But I have basically invested as much as I want to in that garage. We have dreams to move to NC mountains in a couple years, and a full pole barn build will happen with that.

Was out in the west desert this weekend, and there was an ADV bike clinic of some sort that went by. DRZs, a bunch of BMWs, and a 890 Duke Adv + Triumph Tiger. Was really hoping they'd stop at the juncture I was at so I could have a chat but no dice.

I may have gone down a rabbit hole mentally. Really looking into a Tenere 700, but the 800range BMWs just look so damn good in that gold rally scheme.

Supposedly on FB there's a guy down in Mexico who can send sets up North. Not sure it's worth that whole ordeal though. I'll eventually try to do a vinyl wrap on it, I'm sure, and if that fails just buy another set to paint. $20/side plus I think $10 for the headlight surround. Kind of thinking of going grey instead of white though. The grasshopper greens growing on me, too.

I want to get the matte black plastics for the Grom. They are like $200, but I don’t mind the red. Makes it stick out a little.

I was finally feeling good enough today to ride the bike to work. Not nearly that cold, but it's such a revitalizing experience compared to driving the truck lol. Much better start and end to the workday.
