Used some regular Armor All tire dressing. They look nice and black. However. If I brush up against a tire, this oily black shit gets on my blue jeans. It’s not easy to remove. I neglected to wash the tires first but hosed them down. Paper towel after paper towel, the black shit just keeps coming off onto them. Tires not that old and I’d kept them dressed. What will take off that black oily residue without damaging the rubber? Regular car wash soap? Something stronger? It’s now like having four tires coated in black oil!

There are plenty of tire wheel cleaners that will work great. Personally I use Griots heavy duty tire wheel cleaner and a good stiff tire brush.

Most tire dressers are actually bad for the rubber, they make it shiny by softening it, then smoothing it. That black stuff your wiping off is material from the tire side wall, which is why you can't wipe it off. Try dawn dish soap, its very good for cleaning tires.

Treat it like a truck and get some dirt on the tires. Problem solved.

ArmorAll sucks. Everything they make hurts your vehicle and leaves weird residues, inside or out. All trash.

Hahaa. How about….tire shine is for little princesses with Kia’s, go off-road like a man and dress your tires properly?

ArmorAll is the devil. its a silicon grease that makes it appear shiny for a minute, but will actively attract dirt and abrade whatever surface its applied to. Best to toss it in the trash. Personally I'd rather go natural rubber than wet rubber. But there are better non-sticky dressings out there.

If you don't bother to clean the tires it's irrelevant what brand you put on there.

Ya, I’ll use some Dawn. Wash that oily residue off and toss the ArmorAll. Another brand I used did well without leaving an oily film. I’ll also remember to wash the tires thoroughly beforehand.

Roll down the windows, chop off the muffler and go full send into every mud pit you can find with your nearly bald all terrain tires.

This is the most expensive vehicle I've ever purchased, by a lot... I like it to be clean when I'm not using it to do truck things.
