I added a 2 OME lift to my 22 TRD Sport. Tire size is a 265/70 17R. Wheels were swapped to 17" black rhinos with a -18 offset. I get a little wheel rub when the suspension compresses more than a couple of inches. If I go to a 0 offset wheel will I correct this, or just rub in a different place?

Yup, 0 offset will help this area out. Shouldnt rub anywhere else with them, I got away with +18mm with 35x10.5s. Wheel width also matters when taking offset into account.

Did you also change the UCA's? Increasing the caster will help move the wheel more forward in the wheel well and decrease the frequency of rubbing.

Partially right. More castor via maxxing out the cam bolts will move the tire forward, usually not able to unless you have an adjustable Uca. More castor with the typical Uca actually leans the knuckle closer to the firewall.

Which.... is why I asked if he changed the UCA's. A proper alignment shop and UCA setup should be able to correct the OP's issues.

In a perfect world, we'd get a LCA that works for this but we have to use what's available.

Do you know what your alignment specs are with the new setup?

Just get them to add caster in the lower control arm and you should be good. Sounds like an alignment issue. 265's should clear frame no problem.

yes lol, How do you think a wheel alignment is performed haha. just tell them you want enough caster to where the tire doesnt rub on the cab mount.

Haha if I knew I guess I wouldn't be asking. Didn't know that was part of the process... just figured it was left to right and basic camber.

The stock cams can only move so far but with that stock tire size you should be fine and have enough.

Thanks. Ill call the shop that did the alignment. I did go up a tire size, but not nearly as much as others I am seeing in TW without issue.
