By "checking out" do you mean just look at them?

Cause that's all I was allowed to do:laughing:

yeah, for the most part I'd spend 30+ minutes reading every box and looking at the 1x1" thumbnails of the game if they had on there, imagining what it was like to actually play the game LOL

I think I was allowed to rent one approved game a month. a couple weeks ago I watched a lot of lets plays for PS1 and orig xbox games I was feeling nostalgia for :)

Reading the game box and looking at the cover art then imagining how it was played after reading about it in Game informer magazine is probably 70% of my false memories playing games as a kid

Oh my god, I forgot about Game Informer. Yeeeeaa, spent hours pouring over those game reviews and playthroughs even though I'd never have the game...

So, we just got the email back about PG&E registering our solar panels so we can 'activate' them and put them to use.

About time so I can shut off my power and run my new 230V outlet for my welder.

They have to be registered through the power company? Does PG&E own the suns rays now too

    Pretty much right?

So the way it works is, you run solar to provide electricity back to said power company. It reflects as a credit towards your electric bill.

They're monitored and run on a separate panel and we're supposed to leave them off until PG&E registers our stuff to receive energy.

Just need to wait to hear back from the solar company.

Damn, I never really wondered how it worked and it just assumed you got your own power directly through the solar panels. Like you could "cut the cord" from the power company. Makes sense though that they wouldn't want people doing that. Kind of reminds me how you're technically not supposed to collect and use rain water for landscaping because it "belongs" to CA lol.

Glad I wasn't sitting around doing nothing waiting for this kit. I applaud the time and effort. Very cool product. Just not my style. Too much going on.

yeah you're supposed to get a license for it. You can "harvest" rainwater from your roof without a permit but collecting it to use in landscaping requires a permit.

I think its mostly aimed at people in the farming/agriculture business, doubt you'd get in much trouble for it as a civilian unless you have a POS neighbor that rats you out lol.
