I have to cook for and entertain about 15 people Sunday so I will be listening to the race on MRN or PRN on the radio. Guess I will have to record it. Having this race on Mothers Day is a PITA! Like any other holiday and it would not matter but the one day where most husbands and dads are tied up NASCAR puts it on that day.

 

Justin Marks runs a class act organization over there. Not surprised with the well done throwbacks. You should see their haulers. Probably the nicest rigs out there

Justin Marks is great for the sport. HMS seems to have a decent succession plan but others like JGR and RCR & Penske are getting long in the tooth. Good to see Trackhouse come in and have success. Good for the sport.

 

Meanwhile my dad will be sitting in my garage without a care in the world watching the race. LOL, I should move my smoker and grill to the driveway. Perhaps that is what I will do.

 

My wife hates it. She does not give me much shit but I mostly watch in the garage but to be honest it is a nice setup. We have my in-laws, my parents and my sister in law and her family coming over and on mothers day I do everything so it will be a busy day.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm taking the Taco out for a road trip vacation and will likely miss the next 2 races.

 

I dont go anywhere on the weekends during nascar season.. and if I do I make sure I am around a tv that I can watch.. lolz

 

Lol. It's Colorado and Moab. In theory I'll have my phone (assuming there's service), but I'll be out biking and camping so I probably won't be watching.

It will take a couple more years but I think the 24 will become the dominate team at HMS again. No celling for that kid. Money will never be an issue with Dupont and Liberty being as tight as they are. Kids got a good thing and the results are starting to show up.
