All you have to do is reply with "Well I live in paradise". Spent 10 days on the Big Island after Christmas and into January. Covered most of the Island, some of it too quickly. Great place. The diversity of terrain and micro environments is amazing.

The prices?? Eh, and that is coming from a Californian.

Glad you had a great time on the Big Island! We have 8 different climates. It just snow on the mountain tops, two days ago. Hilo town is the most rainiest city in America. Over 142 inch’s ,it rains 70% of the time.
South point , the most southern part of America’s , very windy, blows 25 miles per hour daily. The few trees you will see bent, growing sideways.
    Aloha,

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.

I appreciate simplicity, like the absence of leggings on people that should Not wear them, ungodlily face piercing's, over the top tattoos...

Some of the fishes my son caught spearfishing .We caught a few more with our fishing poles. This was my first trip with my Tacoma TRD. I hit under neat 5-6 times ,trailer hitch skid plate two times. I have full armor under the truck.
6112 & 5160s rides “very stiff” on the hard lava paths. Wish I could have soften them a bit. No adjustable switches. My arms got sore from the steering wheel kicking left to right. Long beds really needs a true 3 inch lifts! Or higher.
“Always nice to be able to going fishing at the beaches”. Got a chance to pick “ Opihi” to eat. Always nice to park on sand too.
Top picture was the smoother path. Before camp. It is really more bumpy.

It was very relaxing. Did you know breathing in salt air is consider very healthy, please research this . It was a day trip only. Fishing in Hawaii has many species, some can only be caught only at night.,some only can be caught only during day light hours and some 24/7. We fish around the clock. You rest when you get home.lol
Nice to be able find a sanded place for camping. I camp a few place that was strictly lava grounds, your feet starts to hurt after a while. Sand are the best shock absorbers.
This place is rare not too many people will camp / fish near you.
