sheesh...1 hour? Mine is only about 30 mins and I feel like that's too long.

Though lately the commute home in the truck has been about an hour with traffic.

20 mins in stop and go surface street traffic and that's about my limit.

It would probably be 30 min without traffic, but even lane splitting most of the way it still took an hour. I have to deal with Downtown LA traffic at the beginning of my route and then airport traffic at the end.

Oof. yeah that sounds about right then.

I lane split on my way home from work. remarkable just how much time and frustration it saves.

It was about 63 on my way back into work after lunch! Glorious glorious sunshine. I even took the Navi back in to work because I didn't need the heated grips or seats of the BMW haha

Happy for you! I wish it could both be riding season year around here but still somehow have winter keep the bugs and humans away…

Was looking at land in ID! But we decided to stay in SD for a home base. We travel a lot and the laws and no taxes here are superb. We’ll be moving from east side to western side in about a year and a half though to at least get to the warm part of a cold place.

For real! Inspiration, man! My wife works in healthcare and you’d be surprised how many people who are barely functional are only in their 50s/60s. My folks just both hit 60 so I’m always trying to get them moving! :)

I will eventually be looking for something out there again. Was living in winter park, CO and Bozeman, MT. Will most likely be South Dakota, Wyoming or somewhere around there next.

I want to move west. I hope the BIL moves to Denver, so at least Ill have that excuse.

Gotta convince the wife that AZ is a good choice. For now, looking at Strasburg VA/Winchester VA. She knows I just want a shop and a couple acres of buffer between us and the neighbors.

IDK, Utah has been pretty awesome, but all this recent climate change impact the last few years (lack of snow and now water) mixed with rampant housing price inflation, etc make it to where even a lot of born and bred locals are thinking about moving somewhere else.

But yeah, move on over to SLC and buy my house. :D

I didn't start riding until just before my 50th b-day. Probably a good thing, too, as I still act like a hooligan and have a couple tickets to show for it. That being said, I was always into getting HUYUGE and getting into riding helped me realize that: 1) at my age I ain't getting any bigger in any good way, 2) being flexible and un-huge is way better for my health and riding on the track, and 3) I feel healthier and less achy than I have in about 10-12 years.

Do it! Even though I live in a development right off 522, you go to our backyard and it's a real sense of "space". I'll give you The Tour next time you swing by if you'd like!
