I have the GY Duratracs. They work fantastic in the snow, and have the slightest "buzz" or hum on the road. They are nowhere near as loud as any real mud tire, IMHO. I've run all sorts of mudders, from BFG's, Swampers, Firestone's, etc.

The Duratracs are kind of a mix of mud and all-terrain. I like them!

Duratracs will probably work well for you. What type of terrain do you usually take your rig through? Maybe a good All terrain tire will work for you.

i think a A/t tire will work for what i do i just dont know which one to go with my choices would be mickey atzs or the terra grapplers in guess i still dont have any feedback on the km2s though they look like they would be less noisey than my mtzs . i had mtzs on my jeep and didnt notice the noise but on my tacoma i cant hear the motor or hear if its shifting in and out of o/d they are alot louder on my truck probably due to the weight difference id guess.

i have the MT baja ATZ's 33x12.5 on 18's. they are very quiet for such a tire IMO. well i guess they are because i hear more engine and exhaust noise when driving, even on the highway. no so much tire noise. so i guess they are great.

Another vote for Duratracs. They own in the snow and did well in sand. Not really loud, as mentioned there is a hum but it's not terrible I don't even notice it anymore especially with music on.
