    I’m wiring in some light bars and found an extra connector next to the fog light connector. No idea what it does

    Looks like it's for the power inverter (outlet in the truck bed).

    Then you don’t do anything.
    Put the cover plate back on and ignore it.

    I have the power inverter. It’s nothing special.
    Buy your own bigger and better inverter if you want one.
