Well everyone, sad to say I could not talk my wife into a trip to STL. Somehow she started coming across articles about the crime rates. I tried to convince for a little, but not a hill I want to die on. Literally... Kidding.
But I guess Ill have to catch a Cards game flying solo some time this season.

 

Honestly not that bad on the west side of the Mississippi. In the 5 years I was stationed out in the area we'd frequent STL and didn't have any issues. Hopefully you can get her to come around one day.

 

Everywhere we suggested is south of Martin Luther King Drive which is the border to 95% of the cities crime which happens north of it.

 

I wouldn’t even worry about stl. You can find articles that will make any place sound bad

Down town at night is not a place you want to be walking around either, unless there is an event and people around. Lived there, always strapped.
