    Ooooh I LOVE that bracket!! I wonder what the chances are he’s still making them…

    Maybe I’ll have to order a cooler and design one myself.

    Feel like the brackets/cooler/hardware would be a pretty sweet kit bolt in kit with some good interest… which I’m sure what the OP had in mind as well, just don’t know if he continued making them or not

    Sheesh!! And you have the gussets!! I can only imagine the headache those cause due to minimizing the access through the wheel wells…

    I appreciate the input, this is exactly what I was looking for. You already said it BUT to confirm, have the benefits of the headers & motor mounts outweighed the cons of serviceability? I’m leaning towards keeping everything in there and sending it and if problems arise down the road I will re-evaluate at that point…

    Maybe I need to remove the y-pipe and bracket bolt so i can flex it to get the O2 threaded in and then tighten it all back up and see if it clears… I’ll probably start with that

    yeeeeeah.. turned into a shit show, but it is doable! lol

    I would say 100% the headers.. and now especially with the solid mounts.. outweigh the potential of a future shit job. lol

    I wanted to run an idea by y'all because we don't yet seem to have a great solution to installing after market cam valve springs without pulling the heads.
    This is a very crude idea but wanted others input.
    A simple bracket like so. Say 1/4" for rigidity.

    This brackets 4 corner holes mount into the 10mm holes that hold the cam in place. Like so:

    Then a valve spring compressing tool (pictured below) through the bottom of the slot with a nut/washer under the bracket.

    This should allow compressing and changing 2 valve springs per install.
    Anyone see why this wouldn't work for those of us installing kelford cams /springs that don't want to pull the heads?

    You're just the current guy having the problem. For the number of people that jumped on the kelford cam group buy- it doesn't seem like most of them have installed them yet. If this makes it easier for you and everyone else- its worth brain storming

    I posted up a kit a while back that worked for the most part. I think I just needed proper bolts to hold it down. They did not come in the kit.
    This looks like the updated version of the kit I got.
