Ford and chevy can kiss my booty..... My truck was built in Texas. My neighbors Titan was built in Georgia. And my dads dodge was built in Detroit.

funny story: Me and my friend went to a huge junkyard to get parts for our vehicles. My friend is a Jeep fan. At the time I had a an 87' toyota PU as well as my Tacoma. So I was there to see if there were any beds that were in good shape for my PU. We get there and I see nothing but domestic. We walked and walked to the very back right corner where I spotted a toyota. So I found the area that I wanted to be in, however there was only 3 Toyotas and two of them looked to be rolled down a cliff ten times so I didn't find a good bed. My friend on the other hand, had a field day because there was plenty of jeep parts and they had sooo many, ridiculous. My buddy says to me ''Heh, shoulda bought a jeep.'' I paused and he relized what he had just said haha. I said ''Nah, its a jeep thing I wouldn't understand why there is so many in the junkyard.'' haha

First off anyone that drives a Dodge is an IDIOT! Toyota makes trucks that last. I have had a Ford F150 and a Chevy Avalanche. Trust me I liked both but they did not compare to my Tacoma!

true but their diesels trucks are the only good trucks they make. solid axles all around, good suspension, decent body and frame. downfall is definately their transmissions and the number 53 engine blocks in the 5.9l that were prone to cracking but thats only the ones that are stamped with the number 53. and a diesel engine that can go for 300,000 miles like a taco and tow over 20,000 lbs sounds pretty damn good to me

I find this annoying. I believe in supporting the American worker. American car company executives don't seem to feel the same way with all the jobs they send out of the country. As proof, I had a friend who was an engineer designing and manufacturing f150 parts in a mexican factory. How can you really consider yourself a patriot when you're supporting a company who's turned it's back on the red blooded, hard working American??

I get shit from my friends all the time about driving a Toyota but I was at a super bowl party on Sunday taking their shit until I asked all the Mopar guys "how many of you actually drove a Mopar to the party?" Not one hand went up and the shit stopped right there. NONE of their trucks were running well enough to actually drive to the party.

In drive an 06 duramax and have 150,000 on it. It's an awesome truck but damned expensive to maintain and operate at 3.40 a gal and $150 for an oil change when I do it myself. I'm fixing a 96 Tacoma up right now and as soon as I get the max paid off I'm getting a brand new Tacoma for a toy/play/work truck. ALL of my oil field buddy are already making fun of me. They think you gotta drive a 3/4 ton diesel to be a real oilman. I just remind them that they are rebuilding the front ends of thier dodges every 20 thousand miles and they shut it up pretty quick.

Love my dmax, can't wait to get into a taco!
