Just purchased a used shell for my Taco! I’ve also installed a locking gas cap and a Pop&Lock tailgate lock

Today I changed all my spark plugs, finally decided I needed to go ahead and get a spark plug socket from autozone and do it after my new spark plugs have sat in my garage for a couple months.

Here’s one of the ones I replaced.
I also came out of work to find this.

On my passenger side door. Not sure if it’s a ding or what but it’s too big for Scratch-X to fill in (you can see the residue from me trying) so I’m not really sure what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The gouge on the left goes down to bare metal so I taped it off and covered it in primer to stop it from rusting and the gouge on the right just scratched through the first layer of paint so I just left it. I ordered a badge overlay (that’s the reason my “TACOMA” badge isn’t in that spot) so right now I’m just hoping when I put the badges back on it’ll cover it but I’m not sure it will. :censored:

No, I just ended up taping the whole thing off. Little bit of tedious work, but way better than dealing with those tabs. You’re right, they basically pinch/sandwich those plastic tabs in making them impossible not to break

Had a minor off grid phone nav fail over the weekend (downloaded maps didn’t work like I expected) so I decided to pull out the old Garmin to have a backup in the future. Needed a place to mount it so I whipped up a bracket in CAD, printed it with PETG, and mounted it to my panavise in-dash mount. Had an extra phone mount from when Amazon accidentally sent me two and voila!

I have the husky weatherbeaters and the holes are in line and they work for my 2010 double cab.

I have the Husky Xact fit and they fit my ‘14 dc perfectly. What year and cab is your truck? My safety clip holes are not offset.

There must be a difference in year and cab styles. My ‘14 is a dc auto transmission.

Ditto. Haven’t been able to find a colored matched cap for dclb locally for years. I’ve seen 2 during that period and one was severely damaged and the other was big $$$$$.

Picked up a Lifetime Tamarack in great condition for $200! Anyone have experience loading two yaks onto the oem rack? If so, which kayak racks are you using and would you recommend them? Only thing I know to try is a set of the J style racks on each side of the oem rack. Just curious if there are any better ways. Thanks!

I'm not even being color specific. I know a Vinyl and a paint guy. I could go either route for the color match. I just need one that's not going for more than retail and isn't cracked down the middle! The used market for these things (for our trucks) is crazy!

I used the Duplicolor Colormatched Toyota paint. It's not a perfect match but it's pretty darn close. I still need to do a clear coat too and I've heard MGM is one of the hardest colors to match perfectly.

Mod list... Well, my paint is factory.
I decided to make a new bed rack. I made my original rack 7" above the bed sides, it's been great for 3 years, but now I decided to double the height to approx 14".
2" x 2" 14awg steel simply painted with Rustoleum Matte Black Hammered finish paint. The side panels are from Caliraised.
