SO I want to achieve 1.75 - 2 inch lift. May keep stock 265/65/17 as I love the wheels .... maybe go up to 265/70/17.

I dont do off-roading but do pull a skiff total weight with trailer less than 2000 lbs. so 99% of the time I am on pavement.

Here is what I was advised:

Front: Ready Lift Bilstein 5100 Coil over level kit

    Rear: Bilstein 5100 and Spacers.

I want to maintain the same rake as I have now and dont want the truck to sag in the rear when towing.

Does this sound like the correct equipment?

    Thanks from a newbie.

With the rear, you might be better off with add-a-leafs or better leaf packs. Blocks (spacers) can cause more problems than good.

Ok thanks for that...what kind of problems? I was told adding a new leaf pack would make the ride shitty.

If you always have an empty bed, AALs will give a stiffer ride. With the weight of the trailer, it'll ride smoother, and the rear shouldn't dip as much.

None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
I put a full OME/Dakar leaf pack on my '06 a few years back and absolutely loved how it rode. I rarely did any offroading, and in the summers when I took the canopy off, I thought it rode great still... didn't really notice a difference.

From one of the few times that it saw off roading action

Edit: I did get about 3" of lift up front, and about 3.25" in rear, which might be a bit more than you want, but it seriously felt great to ride in

This link is a good choice. For the coil selection you probably want 884 since you're a prerunner and don't want more than 2 in. I went with the 885s on my PreRunner and got a full 3 in. Went with the Dakar medium duty leaf pack. An aal is probably fine for you

I'm out here looking for some of the info on rear leaf packs. I purchased an Add-a-Leaf from Wheelers in 2020 that I just found out last night is mostly broken/missing leaves on the drivers side. My truck doesn't leave the road much, no word from Wheelers yet on them doing anything for me. Looking at the Dakar options at this point. Whatever you get don't skip on it.

For the rear- If you are on a budget, go with a progressive 3-leaf aal. Best but more expensive route is a full leaf pack replacement. Leave the lift blocks to street driven full size trucks.

I just lifted my 14’ DC. If you are looking for 2 inch in the front go with the 884’s. I did 884s, 5100s, and JBA UCAs and got exactly 2 inches in the front. Make sure to add the small spacer on the drivers side to correct the lean.
Ended up going with OME Heavy Leaf Pack in the rear. They feel awesome so far but I do have a constant 450 lbs in the back with storage system and cap. I got about 3 inches in the back. Stance looks great but my tires look a tad too small now. Running 265/70/17 KO2’s. Also, REPLACE the the needle bearing if you lift. Mine is back in the shop today getting that done. My vibrations were awful!

DO you have any pics with the 265/70's after the lift? Would love to see how it looks.
