Where Have You Off-Roaded Today? 3rd Gen

Rallied some powerline roads up here in Wa, rear end is officially dialed now that I lifted it a hair more/gained some uptravel/got the shocks tuned how I want. Now to do Lt this winter or save a couple more bucks for a 9" front axle

 

Used to love all your photos and trip reports back in the day on TTORA

 

Yea the pass wasn't open at the top yet though, also hit up last dollar road

 

Yea the higher parts are still closed but still enjoyed doing what I could

 

Safer trail wasn't a let down (the aerial view isn't my pic, thought it would help with someone who's never seen the trail)

Went and dicked around in northern Idaho for a few days, doing nothing but shooting and fishing. A nice little escape from reality

Wasn’t today but love the fact I just have to drive out to the desert a little ways to go shooting and not worry about ranges

 

First time offroading ever. Had a blast and was a great begginer place to learn the truck.

 

You definitely have the tires and the truck for some good offroading! There's nothing quite like some dirt road boosting!!!

 

I have fished that spot (Bird shit island) on my kayak many years back. Big Cabrilla there. I need to get back down there. Nice pics. Stay safe.

 

A Flint Trail switchback, Canyonlands NP. Per the NPS: "High Clearance, 4WD, loose rocks, deep ruts, lockers advised." Fun stuff.

 

A nice trip a couple of days ago. Also got in some hiking up some mountain ridges. Several piles of fresh cougar scat and tracks. I was the first person up this trail since last Fall. Had to shovel to clear a high snow bank to get access, and the only vehicle tracks were mine.

Drill crew commutes in the side x side, once a day they drag the gmc out with the cat to get core out and fuel in.

I drive in and out to check on the drill once a day.

 

Are you on contract to the company as a contractor? Otherwise wouldn't It be a company truck?

 

I get paid for my truck, far more than what my co-workers get because I use and abuse mine.

Drillers can't drive the jimmy through the mud holes along the road that I can get through scraping my skids all the way. Almost had it high centred on some ruts the other day but crawl control surprised me and got me back out run another go at it.
