Welp, my in-laws found them a new house yesterday. As soon as I started my new job (late March) with permanent work from home/anywhere situation, my in-laws, wife and I started our great "get the hell out of Kalifornia!" move efforts. The in-laws got their house sold and moved out a couple weeks ago, been looking at new places the last several days, and yesterday their offer on a new place was accepted. South-central KY (London). So now, as soon as I get enough vacation days accrued at this brand new job, my wife and I will be packing up and heading east. We have to sell our place here before I can re-use my VA loan eligibility to buy another place, so we will first be staying with her folks at their new place, and as soon as our place here sells, we will buy a new placed as close to their new place as we can find that meets our needs. The plan was to look at eastern TN, southern KY, and western NC. So glad they found the right place and their offer was accepted yesterday. Now we know where to target in our search for a new place. And we can't wait to get out of this looney bin that California has become. Not to mention, be able to afford to live like a normal family, not up to our eyes in extremely high bills and debt.

I've only ever hunted with firearms (shotgun, modern rifle, black powder), never archery, but it might be fun

Thank you We've been wanting to move for a few years,, but as I am the only one in the "family" that is still working, we had to wait until I found a job that would let me work from anywhere so I would not have to be tied to a physical office/work location. Now It's On, Baby!!
