Think this is bad I got stopped for a blinker out by the State Police.

I was told by the trooper to put the vehicle in Park. I said " I can`t it is a manual Transmission" Where upon he said I don`t care put the vehicle in Park.

Bottom line when the corporal showed up they just let me go and said get it fixed no paper work

 

I hate it for the family of the man who lost his life and also the 19 year old who did it, this is the stupidest lawsuit ever though. It has NOTHING to do with the owner of the vehicle.

Michigan law, because of legalese they had to sue the owner so that the owner could sue the dealership who will then be responsible for losses. Sucky it has to be that way, but it's the only recourse anyone has

I just read the article. What. They sued the owner of the Jeep because its a manual and the fellow mechanic didn't know how to drive it and ran over the other mechanic?
